Shaving Soap 100ml

Shave Soap is a different type of soap to our cold process soap.  This difference emerges entirely from a difference of function.  A shave soap facilitates a good shave.  “A good shave” means the hair has been cut very close to the skin.  A good shave also means the skin is comfortable and soft afterwards – it has not in itself been “shaved in the process”.  A good shave soap has a dense creamy foam and it is this foam that holds the hair up a little higher off the skin to position the base of the hair perpendicular to the razor blades.  A good shave means the blade of the razor glides over the surface of the skin without actually removing surface skin cells.  A good shave means the foam itself is not too soapy and will not penetrate or dry the skin causing irritation. This shave soap is made with Shea Butter, Tallow and Coconut Oil for dense creamy lather and scented with Clary Sage, Patchouli, Cedarwood and Lavender for a fresh, wooded soft scent.
