Ingredient List
Our Raw Ingredients
Our Raw ingredients area is the most interesting and wondrous area of our production facility. It is really a journey around the world tracing back a particular oil to its native land where its unique geographical needs are met, perfectly. In order for a Savant Product to really be exact there is only the option to make it ourselves, from its purest simplest building block upwards. This enables us to have complete control over quality, purity, functionality, performance, texture and skin health. We very much enjoy getting to know growers around Australia who supply us with native Australian essential oils, clays, woods and rich to fine plant oils. There are still many more ingredients that come to us from countries far away. Essential Oils that only grow best in areas of Europe where delicate highly scented flowers thrive or arid hot Mediterranean deserts where hardy trees make fatty nuts and rich sap. Very old low lying river plains with mineral clays and volcanic pebbles. It does take a lot of time sourcing ingredients, much of this work I have now accomplished and our suppliers stay quite steady unless a season harvest is gone and I have been caught short. That is the ebbs and flows of the natural world. We also require biological active ingredients that the body needs to function but cannot make itself. these are our Vitamins and they are the most complex molecules we work with and have very targeted specific highly important functions. We also use natural made compounds that have undergone alterations or recombinations to make important ingredients such as our soaps, emulsifiers, preservatives and cleansing surfactants.
